What does the future hold for Actinic Keratosis daylight-PDT treatment in a post-COVID-19 world?
On Friday 30th October, siHealth will host a live Industry Hub event exploring the future of daylight Photodynamic Therapy (daylight-PDT) for Actinic Keratosis treatment in a post-COVID-19 world.
The upcoming event will take place online at the EADV Virtual Congress and will be available for three months after the event has taken place on the EADV platform.
Hosted by siHealth’s CTO, Dr Marco Morelli, with guest speakers Professor Sally Ibbotson and Dr Ewan Eadie from the Scottish Photodynamic Therapy Centre, NHS Tayside, University of Dundee, the event will discuss daylight-PDT best practice and will contribute to what promises to be a thought-provoking discussion on:
- How to easily offer daylight-PDT, even if you are not trained in the practice
- The benefits and challenges of daylight-PDT for Actinic Keratosis treatment
- How a digital system can help to ensure therapy adherence and improve treatment outcomes

Dr Antony Young, Professor of Experimental Photobiology at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, will present a poster at EADV on a recent clinical field study performed to evaluate the effects of using the digital app ‘Sun4Health – Vitamin D’ on sun exposure behaviour and skin health in real-life conditions.
